We're, like, taking you back to the 80s for some totally excellent adventures.
Nerds and Skittles were brand new and at the top of our candy list. Well - they still are dudes!
Everyone got a perm.
You had to fight for your right to party. It was rad.

What should I wear?

Dress is business casual to cocktail. OR, well, you COULD dress with the theme:

Yourself from the 80s
Neon & spandex
Oversize shirts, tight-rolled, stirrup or hammer pants (if you do not know how to tight-roll your pants, I'm sure someone at the event can help you with this)
Recognizable characters or celebrities from the 80s
- Madonna
- Billy Idol
- George Michael
- Lydia from Beetlejuice
- Ferris Bueller
- Marty McFly
- Someone from Ghostbusters, they're all great
- Any Star Trek character - they time travel!

Spiked, permed, colored, unnatural and unnecessary hair is totally appropriate.

Awards to be presented:

NOMINATIONS CURRENTLY BEING ACCEPTED

REALTOR of the Year - Selected based on their REALTOR ®spirit (30%); business accomplishments (30%); his/her service to the local and/or state associations (25%); their service to their community (15%). (Not awarded based on sales volume.)

Andy Akin Distinguished Service Award - Presented in recognition of dedicated service and outstanding contributions to our Board of REALTORS®. The winner is someone who upholds the code of ethics, shows integrity, has a good working knowledge of real estate, is cooperative with others and always displays a professional image.

Pioneer Award - Awarded to someone who demonstrates true leadership qualities and helps to pave the way for all members to enjoy success in our profession.

Career Achievement Award - Given in recognition of superior achievement in real estate and carries a lifetime membership in SMTAR.

Student of the Year Award - Awarded to the member who has completed the most verifiable CE credits for the year.
