SMTAR Awards
The Southern Middle Tennessee Association of REALTORS presents annual awards at the annual Installation Dinner & Awards Ceremony in November.
How do I qualify for an award?
Each award has specific criteria. Please review each award page for information. All awards require SMTAR membership, with some award requiring REALTOR® membership.
Can a new member receive an award?
Yes. Newer members are not restricted as long as they meet the award-specific criteria and nominations are submitted within the appropriate deadlines.
Which of the awards is based on sales?
SMTAR does not issue sales-based awards. Our awards are based on your service to the association, our members, the community and the industry at large.
Do award winners receive money with their award?
Typically, no. The Career Achievement Award carries lifetime SMTAR membership, which results in a dues waiver. The Community Hero Award results in a donation to the cause of your choice. We do not offer a prize to agents directly.
What if I cannot attend the awards ceremony?
That's ok! We'll meet with you to present the award at our office.
Is there a benefit to receiving an award?
Yes! Award recipients stand out among their peers. Sometimes, homebuyers/sellers specifically review award credentials when selecting an agent.
